Geely Auto Sales Reach 2.17 Million Units, International Market Growth Surpasses 53%

Jakarta, 6 January 2025 - Geely Auto has announced a major breakthrough in 2024, achieving an annual sales volume of 2.17 million units, marking a 32% year-on-year increase. The company’s international business also set a new record, with exports reaching 403,923 units—up 53% from the previous year.
In 2024, Geely Auto expanded its global presence to over 80 countries and regions, entering more than 10 new markets while strengthening operations in existing markets such as the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Latin America. This strategic expansion gained momentum as Geely successfully launched 16 models across 40+ countries and regions, reinforcing its commitment to delivering high-quality vehicles and exceptional customer experiences to a diverse global audience.

Strengthening Local Market Reach and Network
Geely Auto’s sales and service network has grown significantly, reaching approximately 900 locations—an increase of 69% from the end of 2023. The company also expanded its production footprint by establishing two new factories in Asia and Africa and launching four subsidiaries in Indonesia, Australia, the Philippines, and Chile to enhance local market access. To optimize its supply chain, Geely has developed an advanced global spare parts network, supported by one service center and five strategic facilities overseas.
Flagship Models Driving Geely’s Growth
The Coolray has surpassed one million units sold across 51 countries and ranks among the top three Chinese-made SUVs in six key markets. Meanwhile, exports of the Monjaro surged by 150% year-on-year, reflecting strong customer demand driven by its premium design and powerful SUV performance. The Emgrand continues to dominate the market, ranking among the top three 3A sedans in nine key markets. Additionally, the Geely EX5 gained global attention after appearing at major international auto exhibitions such as Automechanika Frankfurt, Thailand Auto Expo, and Hong Kong IMXPO.

In 2024, Geely’s user base exceeded 16 million, a testament to its focus on product innovation, operational excellence, and brand development. To offer tailored solutions across different markets, Geely continues to implement its "multi-energy" strategy, providing a variety of powertrain options, including internal combustion engines (ICE), hybrid, electric, and methanol-powered vehicles.
